Poppin Box

Grand daughter's 13th Birthday

My grand daughter loves unusual birthday cards and when I saw this "poppin  box" I knew this was going to be the one for this year. She also love cactus so all I had to do was make sure there was one on the box and on the paper!

Unfortunately all the products used are retired product called Succulent Framelits Dies. The paper and ribbon are from Hobby Lobby. The paper is from Stampin' Up. I used Highland Heather (#146986) and Wild Wasabi (retired)

If you search on Youtube.com you will find all kinds of samples and different size of the "Poppin" Box" I got my directions from JanB - UK and Gemma, at www.madebygemmacrafts.co.uk. They both have great directions and patterns.

Hope you enjoy this project and I will be back soon to add more cards that I have done since I have been missing in action!

Card In A Box

My daughter will be celebrating her 40th birthday on the 12th and I wanted to make a special card for her and the Card In A Box was the perfect choice!

The new Large Number Framelits Die made the perfect focal point with the "40" out of the silver glimmer paper. Then I filled it with balloons from the Balloon Bouquet Punch.

I used the It's My Party Designer Series Paper to decorate the box.

Very festive don't you think?

Has it really been six months since my last post??

Between my computer crashing, issues with posting and vacations, time just got away from me! I have lots to post in the next week to catch up and I hope you enjoy the projects!

This is what I made for my son's birthday (May) and son-in-law (June) see how far behind I am! I used the now retired Neutrals cardstock (130132) sets; Patterned Occasions (129624) and Tag It (130303). The cardstock was cut with the Big Shot and the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. I stamped the images on Whisper White cardstock and color in the images using the Stampin' Write Markers and the Aqua Painter.

Daughter's February Birthday Card

Today I'm posting the card I did for my daughter's birthday.

I embossed the Whisper White cardstock with a embossing folder. I also punched the Oak Tree from the Whisper White and also made a banner. The hearts are from the Confetti Heart Punch using the Real Red cardstock.

another Birthday Card

Things have been a little crazy so I haven't blogged in a while...hope to be posting some new Valentine projects soon.

I have a new StampinUp web page at http://pstanley.stampinup.net where the latest promotions are posted and a great place to see all the StampUp products in their catalog. For anyone who hasn't seen their latest catalog you'll be amazed at what they offer!!

There is also a new product put out by StampinUp that you can order called My Paper Pumpkin at www.mypaperpumpkin.com which is a monthly kit that contains everything you need to complete a project. It cost $19.95 and great for anyone who would like to try card making.  I just ordered my 1st kit and will post it's contents when I receive it.
