Daughter's February Birthday Card

Today I'm posting the card I did for my daughter's birthday.

I embossed the Whisper White cardstock with a embossing folder. I also punched the Oak Tree from the Whisper White and also made a banner. The hearts are from the Confetti Heart Punch using the Real Red cardstock.

Valentine easel cards

These are the cards I made for my grand daughters for Valentines. They love cards with movement so this year I made an easel card with a spinner at the top. They loved them!

I cut several hearts of varying sizes using the Heart Framelits. On the largest heart I punched an opening using the Word Window Punch for the slider to fit into. The bow was made using the Bow Builder Punch and the Red Glimmer Paper.

Here is a close-up of the bow.

This is a close-up of the spinner.

More Christmas projects!

Today I'm posting some projects I did for the Stanley side of the family - it's all about the little ones for this gathering.

These are the gift tags I made for the packages for the little ones under age .

Here is a closeup of the tag which I cased from one I saw on Pinterest. I changed a few things that I thought added to the project.

The older children got an envelope with money inside (which is the BEST gift at that age) I also made Rolo Snowmen for everyone. Another project I got off of Pinterest. Did I mention I LOVE Pinterest!!

I wrapped Rolo Candy with Whisper White cardstock which I embossed with Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. The nose was made with Simply Pressed Clay and Pumpkin Pie ink. The eyes and buttons were made with a variety of punches with Pearl Basic Jewels for the center of the buttons.

I hope you enjoyed these projects and will give them a try yourself!

Next post will be all about Valentines Day.....

Top Note Gift Boxes

These are the gifts I gave the caregivers for my Mom at Christmas.

I made a 3 x2x 4½" tall box out of Cherry Cobbler and attached a Top Note Bigz piece punched from Silver Glimmer Paper to the front and back. From the Wonderful Wreath Framelits I punch the wreath out of the Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper. The wreath was wrapped with Gold 1/8" ribbon. "Joy" was punched from the Gold Foil.
This one I made for my sister who has a December birthday. The stars are punched from the Star Framelits. One punched with the Gold Glimmer paper and one punched with the Jolly Holiday paper.

Christmas Money Holders

Today I'm posting the Christmas money holders I made for my adult children....after all money is the best gift for Christmas!

Punches were the go to tool for this project. The mustache was made using the Bird Builder punch. The beard was made using the Blossom Petals Builder punch (retired). The rest was made with an assortment of circle, oval and scallop punches.

December 2014 Christmas Cards

Missing in action AGAIN! These were the cards I sent for Christmas....

I worked on two styles this year

On this card I punched out the ornaments with the thinlits die on the Wild Wasabi cardstock. Stamped the pine in Always Artichoke then embossed with clear embossing powder. Embossed the whole thing with a stripped embossing folder. The ornaments were embossed with silver embossing powder on Whisper White cardstock for the second layer and both layers were placed on a Crumb Cake card.

I stamped several pieces of Sahara Sand cardstock with Soft Suede ink using the Hardwood Background stamp. From these I made the door slats. The wreath is made from the stem on the Bird Builder punch.

Tomorrow I will post some other projects I made for Christmas gifts....
